Terms of Service

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Topicks you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens through it. Keep your login secure. You may only have one account per person. We reserve the right to reclaim usernames that are inactive, squatted, or that impersonate another person or brand.

Your content

You own the content you create on Topicks — your lists, item descriptions, notes, and photos. By making content public you grant Topicks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content on the platform, including in social previews and search results. You can delete your content or your account at any time; this licence ends when the content is deleted.

Repicks

Repicking creates a copy of a public list attributed to the original author. By making a list public you permit other Topicks users to repick it. Attribution to the original author is always preserved and cannot be removed. You may not repick a list and then misrepresent the original source.

Prohibited content and conduct

You agree not to post or promote content that:

• is illegal or facilitates illegal activity
• is hateful, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory
• contains sexual content involving minors
• is spam or unsolicited commercial advertising
• infringes the intellectual property rights of others
• impersonates another person or organisation

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

Topicks is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Topicks and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or content.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We may change, pause, or discontinue the service at any time.
